About Libera Help Troubleshooting Search | Izberi jezik: |
Any character string may be typed in the search fields. The Libera search mechanism finds all records with this character string in any part of the field.
The '^' sign in front of the searched word means that you search it at the beginning of the field text.
The '$' sign at the end of the searched word means that you search it at the end of the field text.
Any fields, which are not to be used, are to remain empty.
You may substitute any multi-character string, including zeros, with a '%' sign.
All records incorporating the character "K" and (eventually) followed by the string "ski" are filtered out. Usually, this will be a list of authors beginning with "K" and ending in "-ski". However, only "Kski" is also possible.
You may substitute any single character in the search string with the "_" underscore sign.
This option is very useful for substituting any special characters.
We get "Tržišče", but also "Treibve(rzierte)".
You may substitute any single character within the specified range or set of characters.
[a-c] a or b or c
[Aa] A or a
[a-cgz] a or b or c or g or z
The searched words may be combined with the help of logical operators. There are command buttons for their input at every input field.
Keywords should be chosen with the help of a pull-down menu. You have to place them in the search query field with the "Insert" command button. Use the "Reset" button if you make a mistake. But be careful because this action deletes the characters in other input fields too!
Also the searched keywords may be combined with the help of logical operators.
Keywords with an asterisk are not in use anymore and they refer only to the oldest records.
